This was fun to play! it was real quick too, kinda wish it gave me more of a warnin on finishin the game I didn't get to buy everything I wanted but that was my bad😔
Perhaps a bit more scenery underground would be nice, such as dinosaur bones or skeletons or things like that but otherwise this is very fun and it kills a couple of spare minutes on any day of the week.
absolutely love the game, and i would love to see it expanded - larger upgrade trees, maybe different mines after you pay dads debt? (your character realizes how much money they're making and says "screw it, I'm becoming a full-time miner" or smth like that) my only (minor) complaint is that the upgrade tree feels pretty zoomed in and it doesn't seem like you can zoom it out - but, with the game's (current) size, that wasn't much of a hindrance anyways
Spent a bit playing the game until I realized it doesn't work on mobile, very unfortunate since it doesn't seem like the controls require anything other than tapping and dragging (at least in the start)
auto release doesn't seem to work? the different pickaxe types can be a little annoying (wasting money in one just to unlock a cooler one moments later) and would love to zoom out on the research tree but good enough for a short little game
Red (third level) charge, every upgrade bought, wouldn't charge any more, didn't auto release You *shouldn't* need max level given the description anyway it should be the highest level you own, but either way I *did* have max level
I didn't see auto release labelled as it's own thing? Also that would be really dumb? There was normal, repeating (not what we're talking about), charge, and explosion - those were the only 4 I remember seeing (but its been a few days)
I think it's quite the opposite, in fact some of the upgrades are so worthless and some of the Paths like getting explosives and extra items are so good that when i rushed for those i was able to complet the game in under 5 mins, while doing it the way your talking about like i did my first time around it took me just under half an hour
Nah, they're right. Some of the upgrades combine multiplicatively with each other making them ridiculously broken.
Extra item chance, amount, and rares combine multiplicatively with everything. Power, crit chance, and crit damage are multiplicative with the first 2 being great early on. Explosive chance + damage are multiplicative with each other with explosive's base damage far out pacing anything else available for how little it costs to get it.
With my terrible 7 clicks per second I'm just about at the 7 min barrier. The other guy probably clicks a lot faster than me.
Ey, this was a nice game. I thought the drills would end up being broken, but it turns out it was the pickaxe all along.
I did find a small issue. The progress to the next item is on the highest "layer" (I don't know godot terminology) i.e all other sprites are behind it. The issue is that, when you get the drone, it's behind the % number.
It doesn't take away from the experience, I had to look for it to even notice it, but it's there.
Fun little game. It would be cool if the character, pickaxe and drills changed colour when you upgraded them to show visually that they were more powerful.
Hi, saw you were looking for feedback! I think the core concept is solid and fun. Who doesn't like random loot? Some of the controls are awkward though - I agree with the commenter that suggested a button to exit upgrades instead of hitting ESC. The right-click drag is also kind of unintuitive and the interface itself seems a little spread out/zoomed in - something more compact or with the ability to zoom out might work better. The drone seems completely left in the dust compared to other upgrades - a very slow drone you have to move yourself for very little coins to start. I'd consider having it move by itself and be fully idle, though developing the behavior for it might be a lot of work. Since nothing is fully idle and everything runs off the mouse, it doesn't control that well on a trackpad, which often can't both left and right click at the same time. You might consider a final upgrade to the repeat to fully automate, to help relieve the three-in-one controls and also for the people that just want to see the little dude go. The commenter who suggested bumping up the weirdness of the items dug up - I think that's a great idea! You could even lean into it further with a "lootpedia" where you give fun little descriptions for the items. Gameplay-wise, you could even have progress on the lootpedia give passive boosts, if you think it would work with your balancing. Overall, it's cute and engaging for the length of the game - it's pretty good and I hope you can take pride in it!
Thank you so much for the feedback! May I ask what is the lootpedia you are referring to? (Google show me some kind of World of Warcraft addon, not sure I'm looking at the right place +_+)

Loved it very cool game!
definitely addictive!
I would've liked a depth counter. Something to let you know how deep you were.
Noice
great game, very addictive!
Awesome game! Really like all the upgrades.
I love it! Can't wait to see how it goes in later updates!
Had to say game is lot of fun tried my best.
beautiful game ( ಠ ͜ʖರೃ)

great digging game with a good goal, kind of wanted the dad to come back and we choose to kick him out or not

deep rock galactic but affordable
Love this game! its great if you have nothing to do
great game to pass time during class

can you actually reach the core? lol
auto release doesn't seem to work? the different pickaxe types can be a little annoying (wasting money in one just to unlock a cooler one moments later) and would love to zoom out on the research tree but good enough for a short little game
the auto release works for me but I think you need to have the max level charge for it to work
Red (third level) charge, every upgrade bought, wouldn't charge any more, didn't auto release

"auto release" is its own kind of pickaxe - did you switch over from "charge" to "auto release"?
I didn't see auto release labelled as it's own thing? Also that would be really dumb?
There was normal, repeating (not what we're talking about), charge, and explosion - those were the only 4 I remember seeing (but its been a few days)
when I combined the explosive and the charge I was 20 seconds off my record of olny charge and repaet
I use reppeat then charge when I have the money for the good upgrades
also I love that I can get a tophat
I found a wierd glitch were if you get all three drills then restart the game you keep the drills but they invissable
The repeat pickaxe lets you click as fast as you can. No real point in getting the charge or explosive upgrades
amazing little game! always love an incremental with low numbers, no prestige, and an actual ending! 10/10 will keep an eye on your steam!
LOVELY GAME!
would kill for a game like this on mobile, reall fun!
Gameplay and Critique ;)
19 minutes 53.668 seconds
gooooood game
nice one
-for next patch a reset option, maybe.
-at some point, it becomes a game of 'pressing the cheapest upgrade'.
when an ugrade goes from 270 to 810, 'the other' upgrade will always be better. (maybe not ALways, but most of the time)
I think it's quite the opposite, in fact some of the upgrades are so worthless and some of the Paths like getting explosives and extra items are so good that when i rushed for those i was able to complet the game in under 5 mins, while doing it the way your talking about like i did my first time around it took me just under half an hour
you are full of shit.

I didn't realize that right click moved it until I got nearly all upgrades on the screen in the beggining.
Change the escape key from returning it minimizes the window
funny game. but it's hard to navigate in upgrade screen with touchpad. could you please add some touchpad gestures? e.g. scroll, zoom
Thank you for the feedback! Im currently experiment various upgrade page ux. Hope to find solution soon >_<
absolutely funny harhar. or something idk its cool yeh.
Thank you! Im glade you like it :D

I called it layer too >d<! I put that bar in UI layer, gonna move it next update for sure!
